Overview
The Real Estate Practice Group includes attorneys and professional staff with a broad range of real estate experience and expertise. We align those experiences and expertise to meet each client’s needs and expectations.
The attorneys in our Real Estate Practice Group assist clients with their project goals in a timely, creative, effective and efficient manner. The size of the Real Estate Practice Group allows us to devote the level of resources necessary to meet the most time sensitive project schedule. We understand technology and appreciate that technology allows us to provide better and cost-effective solutions for our clients. We listen closely, communicate promptly, explain risks and opportunities concisely, propose creative and efficient solutions; all with the goal of exceeding our client’s expectations.
We have a team work approach to most real estate transactions. We realize the best results are often achieved when we work collaboratively with other real estate professionals in a transaction, including opposing counsel, the title company, surveyor, engineer, architect, lender, real estate agent and government officials.
In addition to acquisitions, project development and leasing, we routinely handle other real estate legal matters, such as:
- Zoning amendments, conditional uses and variances;
- Real estate tax abatements and other governmental financial incentives;
- Loan documentation;
- Public water and sewer agreements;
- Real estate tax valuation appeals;
- Condominium and homeowners’ associations;
- Construction contracts, building permits and construction liens;
- Eminent domain actions;
- Real estate partition actions;
- Annexation and detachment
- Telecommunications easements and leasing;
- Land use for renewable energy sources such as wind and solar farms; and
- Oil, gas and minerals rights.
We welcome you to contact one of our Real Estate Practice Group attorneys to discuss your real estate legal needs.
