Annually Super Lawyers magazine generates a listing of attorneys from each state using a four-step process. An attorney first has to be nominated. Next he or she is evaluated by Super Lawyers on 12 factors, followed by peer evaluation. Those scoring the highest in their respective size category are designated as Super Lawyers.
Five percent of attorneys are designated as Ohio Super Lawyers. Only 2.5% are designated as Ohio Rising Stars. These attorneys typically are under the age of 40 or have practiced for less than 10 years.
