Adam S. Nightingale and Breanne M. Rubin have been elected members of Eastman & Smith.  Formerly both were associates with the Firm.

Mr. Nightingale provides legal representation and crisis management for companies and individuals faced with government investigations and prosecutions. In addition, he handles complex business and commercial litigation matters, and is experienced in pursuing insurance recovery and defending attorneys in professional-responsibility matters.  Mr. Nightingale enjoys suggesting ways clients can avoid the cost, publicity and stress of government investigations and litigation by instituting protocols and addressing problems before they occur.  Super Lawyers has named Mr. Nightingale an Ohio Rising Star on multiple occasions.  Mr. Nightingale sits on the boards of the Toledo Bar Association and the Toledo Jazz Orchestra, is a member of Toledo Rotary, and is the president of the University of Toledo Law Alumni Affiliate.

Ms. Rubin enjoys bringing practical and strategic solutions to her clients, helping them meet their overall business objectives in a purpose-driven and efficient manner.  She handles a wide range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, as well as advises health care providers and health related businesses on all aspects of their businesses including compliance issues and health-care related transactions.  In 2018, Super Lawyers named her an Ohio Rising Star.  Ms. Rubin is the chair of the Corporate Counsel Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, a member of the American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio’s board of directors, vice chair of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of Prevent Blindness, member of Small Business Development Center advisory board, and a member of That Neighborhood Free Health Clinic’s governing board.

Both attorneys received their law degrees from the University of Toledo

The Firm congratulates these attorneys on being elected members.
