Mr. Nahhas, chair of the Firm’s Executive Committee, has earned a Band 4 ranking in the Corporate/M&A section (Ohio: North), marking his inaugural recognition in Chambers USA.  In the Ohio: North region, 33 attorneys appear in Chambers USA for Corporate/M&A.  Mr. Nahhas is the only Toledo attorney to be listed.  Mr. Nahhas concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, general corporate law, commercial transactions and immigration. He is a trusted advisor to midsize companies across a variety of industries, including service, manufacturing, automotive, food and telecommunications. He regularly assists his clients in strategic acquisitions and planning the sale of their businesses.

Mr. Schneider continues to be ranked in Band 3 in the Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations (Ohio) section of Chambers USA.  Nineteen attorneys are listed in this section for the State of Ohio. He joined Eastman & Smith’s Columbus, Ohio, office in early 2024, along with Todd A. Long, expanding the firm’s White-Collar Crime & Investigations practice. Mr. Schneider has extensive trial experience in white collar criminal defense, professional liability matters and complex business litigation. He has defended individuals, businesses and public officials in a myriad of criminal matters that include public corruption and fraud.
