Eastman & Smith Affiliates with IP Attorney David C. Purdue

5/10/21

Eastman & Smith is pleased to welcome David C. Purdue as of counsel to the Firm. Mr. Purdue’s practice involves protecting patents, trademarks and copyrights, both nationally and internationally, as well as providing opinions regarding the validity and scope of patents and trademarks.  He represents clients in many industries and is a frequent speaker, addressing businesses and entrepreneurs on issues relevant to patents, trademarks and copyrights.

“We are thrilled to have Dave and his professional team join our team of talented IP attorneys and dedicated professional staff,” said Fadi V. Nahhas, chair of the Firm’s Executive Committee. “Dave joins our growing IP practice, which added C. Fred Charpie III and Carrie A. Johnson last year. With these additions, we are pleased to offer our clients support for all of their intellectual property needs.”

In addition to his role with Eastman & Smith, Mr. Purdue will continue to operate Purdue Law Offices LLC. The affiliation will allow him to leverage the Firm’s patent experience for his clients while bolstering Eastman & Smith’s trademark practice.
