Eastman & Smith Practice Groups and Attorneys Recognized in Chambers USA 2025

Ranked in Chambers USA 2025 LogoEastman & Smith is pleased to announce the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and White Collar Crime and Investigations practices have earned inaugural rankings in the 2025 edition of Chambers USA in Ohio. Attorneys Fadi V. Nahhas and Karl H. Schneider were once again recognized in the newly released guide.

The Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice earned its first ranking in Band 4 of the Ohio: North Corporate/M&A section.  Eastman & Smith is one of 13 in this region to appear in Chambers USA. The team is known for serving as trusted advisors to companies in Ohio and throughout the Midwest, providing valuable counsel, including business and tax strategy, on business acquisitions, restructurings and divestitures, private equity transactions, joint ventures, controlled bid and brokered transactions, and other corporate and partnership structures.

Mr. Nahhas is individually ranked for the second year in Band 4 of the Ohio: North Corporate/M&A section, solidifying his reputation as a leader in advising midsize companies across key industries, including service, manufacturing, automotive, food and telecommunications. Eastman & Smith also earned a new practice ranking in Band 2 in the Ohio: White-Collar Crime & Investigations section of Chambers USA after expanding its capabilities into state and federal courts in the Southern District in early 2024 with the arrival of duo Karl H. Schneider and Todd A. Long.  A total of seven Ohio firms appear in Chambers USA for white collar law.  The group is uniquely qualified to assist clients through every stage of government investigations and prosecutions, providing advice both prior to and during white collar criminal investigations, as well as throughout the grand jury process and trial if needed.
