Law360 Highlights Addition of Todd Long and Karl Schneider

3/11/24

The arrival of Todd A. Long and Karl H. Schneider was featured in the Law360 article “McNees Wallace White Collar Duo Joins Eastman & Smith,” on March 1.  It highlights the expansion of Eastman & Smith’s white collar crime and investigation capabilities throughout Ohio.

Mr. Schneider spoke with Law360 about the move, noting it will give “them a ‘bigger platform’ when it comes to litigation in the state,” as he and Mr. Long work alongside Toledo-based white collar defense attorneys Reginald S. Jackson and Adam S. Nightingale.

Mr. Long and Mr. Schneider have worked together since 2019.  Their experience includes representing an individual charged in, reportedly, the largest public corruption case in Ohio history.

Mr. Jackson noted his respect for Mr. Schneider and Mr. Long as advisers and litigators, adding “They enhance our ability to provide counsel to and defend targets of criminal investigations, and expand our group’s reach in advising corporate clients across Ohio with respect to internal investigations.”
