As an associate at Eastman & Smith, Mr. Dubow focuses on labor and employment law, handling matters involving the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and cases of workplace discrimination based on race, age, gender and other protected characteristics (Ohio Revised Code 4112, Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and others).

Mr. Dubow earned his law degree from The Ohio State University where he served as an articles editor for The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution and gained practical experience in both the criminal defense and mediation clinics. He also clerked for the Ohio Department of Public Safety and the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office. Mr. Dubow received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from The Ohio State University.  While an undergraduate student, Mr. Dubow worked as a page in the Ohio Senate.   He is a graduate of Sylvania Southview High School.

Mr. Dubow has a strong record of community involvement, serving as an advisor for the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization (BBYO) and mentoring high school students. Mr. Dubow has been consistently recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.

Outside the office, Mr. Dubow enjoys chasing his daughter around the house and yard, watching shows and movies, reading and planning how he will force his son to play baseball with him when he gets older. As an OSU alum, he enjoys watching OSU football, and often finds himself and his wife unhappily watching the Browns do what some people may call playing football.
