Eastman & Smith Adds Litigators Jeffrey B. Sams and Elizabeth I. Sams, Expanding Columbus Office
Eastman & Smith is pleased to announce that attorneys Jeffrey B. Sams and Elizabeth I. Sams have joined the Firm’s Columbus office strengthening the Firm’s Business Litigation team and continuing its strategic expansion in the Columbus market.
Prior to joining Eastman & Smith, Mr. Sams and Ms. Sams worked at the Law Office of Jeffrey B. Sams, LLC, which Mr. Sams led since 2005, and together they have grown a litigation-focused practice serving businesses and individuals across central Ohio. At Eastman & Smith, they will work within the Firm’s Business Litigation group, bringing a practical, results-oriented approach to complex disputes.

Mr. Sams brings more than three decades of experience focusing on business and commercial litigation, representing closely held companies and individuals in contract disputes, business torts, and other high-stakes civil matters. He is known for his disciplined litigation strategy and his focus on delivering efficient, effective advocacy for clients navigating challenging legal conflicts. Mr. Sams earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.A. from Ohio University. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association.
Ms. Sams concentrates her practice on litigation involving business, real estate and individual matters. She provides a tailored approach for each client, providing clear communication throughout every stage of the litigation process. Ms. Sams earned her J.D. from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and received her B.A. from Miami University. While attending law school, she served as an intern with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office and with the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association and Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer American Inn of Court.
