Gibney and Holt Present at OSIA Conference

7/17/15

"Bridging the Barriers of Workers' Compensation" was the theme of this year's Ohio Self-Insurers Association (OSIA) annual conference. Thomas J. Gibney co-presented at the conference regarding ethical conundrums for those practicing workers' compensation law while William D. Holt co-presented professionalism in workers' compensation situations.

In addition to workers' compensation law, Mr. Gibney practices in the areas of human resources management, employment litigation, private and public sector labor negotiations and contract application, and federal and state safety regulation litigation. Mr. Holt's practice focuses on workers' compensation law, including management of both self-administered and third-party-administered self-insured programs as well as representation of employers before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.

OSIA is an organization devoted to the interests of Ohio employers who pay workers' compensation claims themselves rather than through the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation. For more information regarding OSIA, please see its web site.
