Friday the 13th: Scary Workers' Compensation Topics (Although Perhaps not as Scary as Jason)
The attorneys of the Labor & Employment Practice Group of Eastman & Smith Ltd. invite you to their fourth annual Findlay area Workers' Compensation Seminar. February 13, 20158:30 a.m. - 11:45 p.m. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Although the economic climate continues to improve, employers still must watch every dollar. One area that continues to require monitoring is workers' compensation costs. Join us for a seminar focused on providing employers with practical information to help reduce those costs and effectively manage workers' compensation programs. This seminar will include advanced discussions on the following topics:
- Settlement considerations including Medicare Set-Asides;
- Medical marijuana and its potential impact on the workplace;
- Best practices in processing BWC forms and
- Vocational rehabilitation and living maintenance benefits.
The seminar also will feature small group interactive workshops in which attendees analyze real life scenarios with individual attorneys and discuss how to identify issues and enhance the prospect of favorable outcomes.
