Managing Difficult Employment and Labor Law Issues: Guidelines for In-House Counsel

The myriad of federal and state laws and regulations impacting employers can be difficult to manage, particularly across multiple jurisdictions. This difficulty is compounded by workplace changes that are the subject of much legal debate, such as bullying in the workplace, the rights of transgender employees, the impact of technology and personal device use by employees, managing FMLA and ADA situations, and other emerging issues. This presentation will identify the most common employment law issues facing companies today, focusing on practical solutions to those problems and offering tips on how to proactively address these issues to avoid litigation.
