Profile

Lauren A. Lowe is an associate in the Business Law, Health Care Law and Merger & Acquisitions Practice Groups.

While earning her law degree from the University of Toledo, Ms. Lowe clerked for several law firms (including Eastman & Smith) and a government agency.  She also externed for a local health care company in its legal department.  Her work experience in these environments included legal research, drafting motions and assisting with compliance issues, matters she continues to address at Eastman & Smith.  During law school, Ms. Lowe served as technical editor of the University of Toledo Law Review.  The law review published her real estate article, “A Statutory Analysis on Racially Restrictive Covenants.”

Utilizing her education degree, Ms. Lowe taught leadership skills and provided instruction on research assignments to high school juniors and seniors through Toledo’s Law and Leadership Institute.  The Institute also afforded Ms. Lowe the opportunity to attend diversity workshops.

Ms. Lowe and her husband, who is an assistant principal, reside in Perrysburg, Ohio, along with their dog.
