As an associate in the Labor & Employment and Workers’ Compensation practice groups, Juliana N. Fierro focuses on clients’ needs through researching complex legal issues and drafting court documents. 

She joined the Firm after clerking for over a year with Eastman & Smith.  Additionally, Ms. Fierro interned for a nonprofit housing organization, gaining valuable experience in research, litigation and mediations. Her background also includes employment as a resident assistant, orientation leader and office assistant as well as work in retail during her undergraduate studies.  Her university duties likely are familiar to anyone employed in HR – manage a facility of 300 people, on-board new recruits and complete paperwork.

During law school, Ms. Fierro served as contributing articles editor for the University of Toledo Law Review and held leadership roles as president and vice president of OUTlaw. Additionally, she chaired the Diversity Committee for the Student Bar Association and is a member of Delta Theta Phi.

Ms. Fierro earned her bachelor degrees, magna cum laude, in History and Strategic & Organizational Communication from the University of Akron.  She had the honor of being elected the 2021 Homecoming Queen and was a member of student government.  However, Ms. Fierro’s first experience with government was in high school as an attendee of Buckeye Girls State, a program that provides young women the experience of how government operates.

Ms. Fierro’s commitment to clients is matched only by her zest for life outside the office. Whether she is cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, conquering every rollercoaster at Cedar Point or enjoying a good book with her 16-pound cat, Tabby, she brings energy and enthusiasm to all she does.
