Attention to detail and research are several skills Ms. Johnson has honed in her 20+ years of litigation and dispute resolution experience.
An of counsel attorney in the Firm’s Environmental and Public Law practice areas, Elizabeth A. Johnson utilizes her legal skills and experience to:
- assist local municipalities, school districts and solid waste management districts with negotiation and the drafting of solid waste and recycling agreements as well as advice on such plans.
- counsel clients regarding nuisances, sewage, water pollution and compliance with related local, state and federal regulations.
- advise townships, villages, cities, counties and other public organizations regarding compliance with public records and open meetings requirements.
After obtaining a degree in English from The Ohio State University, Ms. Johnson earned her law degree from Capital University. While at Capital University she was a staff member of the Capital University Law Review and authored an article for the publication. She also received the Order of Barristers for trial advocacy excellence.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Ms. Johnson, her husband and children support youth wrestling in Central Ohio, enjoy downhill skiing, amusement parks and are actively involved in their church.
