11/25/19

Linde Hurst Webb has joined Eastman & Smith Ltd., bringing her four decades of experience in the areas of eminent domain, real estate, sunshine laws, trusts, estates, guardianships and probate law to the Firm’s clients as well as her philosophy that clients tend to receive better outcomes when they and their attorneys work in tandem.

During her legal career, Ms. Webb worked as an assistant attorney general for the Ohio Department of Transportation (gaining significant understanding of eminent domain law) and in private practice.  Matters have encompassed eminent domain proceedings, real estate tax appeals, boundary disputes and recovery of misappropriated estate assets, as well as general real estate matters.  Currently, Ms. Webb is an of counsel attorney with Eastman & Smith.

In addition to her practice, Ms. Webb has given back to the profession at both the local and state levels.  She has chaired the Ohio Supreme Court Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline and the Professionalism Committee of the Toledo Bar Association.  She also held the presidencies of the Ohio and Toledo Women’s Bar Associations and the Morrison R. Waite Inns of Court chapter.  Ms. Webb received her law degree from Case Western Reserve University College of Law and undergraduate degree from Kent State University.

According to Fadi V. Nahhas, chair of the Executive Committee, “We are delighted that Linde will be joining Eastman & Smith and adding to the Firm’s scope of services to better serve the needs of our clients.”  Ms. Webb will be based in the Toledo office.
