UT Law School and Eastman & Smith Networking Mixer

Eastman & Smith was honored to host a networking mixer for the University of Toledo Law School Affinity Groups on February 10, 2023, at a local pizza bar. Over 40 students joined in a great evening of networking and relationship-building.

“Eastman & Smith is committed to creating opportunities to build relationships with all future lawyers so that we can build a more inclusive, representative legal industry,” said Eastman & Smith’s DEI Committee Chair, Carrie A. Johnson. “This fun event was a powerful reminder of who the next generation is, and we are so impressed with their passion, brilliance and spirit.”

The Law School’s Affinity Groups include:

• Women’s Law Student Association

University of Toledo, founded in 1872, offers over 200 degree programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level, including law.  Its law school graduates are employed by law firms of all sizes, courts, governments educational institutions and in multiple industries.

The Firm looks forward to continuing to be a resource for the next generation of attorneys from the University of Toledo College of Law.
