Reginald Jackson Recertified by NBTA

The National Board of Trial Advocacy has recertified Reginald S. Jackson Jr. as a board certified civil trial advocate.  In Ohio and Michigan there are 83 attorneys who have been certified by the NBTA.

To be considered for certification, attorneys must meet NBTA criteria which includes trial experience, references from judges and attorneys, attending continuing education classes and be in good standing with the state’s licensing authority.

A nonprofit group, the NBTA’s purpose is to improve trial advocacy quality as well as assist consumers in selecting counsel.  The organization has been certifying attorneys for 46 years.

Mr. Jackson’s practice includes complex business litigation, federal white collar criminal defense and professional liability.  Additionally Mr. Jackson has arbitrated and mediated in excess of 130 matters involving breach of contract, business torts, lender liability, shareholder actions and UCC.  His service to the legal community entails holding the office of president for the Ohio State Bar Association, Toledo Bar Association and Ohio Lawyers Assistance Program.  Mr. Jackson is listed in Best Lawyers and received the Toledo Bar Association’s Robert A. Kelb Distinguished Service Award. He is an of counsel attorney with Eastman & Smith.
