Nightingale Elected to OSBA Council of Delegates

10/27/20

Adam S. Nightingale, member of Eastman & Smith, was elected as a District 4 representative to the Ohio State Bar Association Council of Delegates. He will serve a two-year term.

The Council of Delegates is one of the two major governing bodies of the Ohio State Bar Association – the other being the Board of Governors.  Members of the Council meet at least once a year to vet legislative proposals offered by the committees and sections of the OSBA, and determine if they will become priority legislation for the OSBA.  In addition, members also consider proposed rule changes to the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct and other matters pertaining to the OSBA and the legal profession.

In addition to his work with the OSBA, Mr. Nightingale also is a board member of the Toledo Bar Association and the Toledo Jazz Orchestra as well as a fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation.

Mr. Nightingale’s legal practice involves providing legal representation and crisis management for companies, health care/medical providers and other individuals subject to government investigations and prosecutions.  He earned his law degree from the University of Toledo.
