Carrie A. Johnson Elected Vice Chair of INTA Committee
Carrie A. Johnson, a member of the Firm, was elected vice chair of the International Trademark Association’s Non-Traditional Marks Committee. This committee promotes the interests of brand owners by advocating for the global protection and enforcement of non-traditional trademarks, such as color marks, sound marks, product shapes and scents.
INTA is a nonprofit organization comprised of both professionals who support trademarks and other intellectual property as well as brand owners. For more information regarding INTA, please visit their web site.
Protecting brands is the heart of Ms. Johnson’s practice. She concentrates in the areas of trademark, unfair competition, advertising and copyright law. Ms. Johnson also has extensive experience in trademark and copyright enforcement via arbitration, federal courts and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
