Atticus Finch: A Model for Lawyers

Published in the Toledo Bar Association's April 2011 newsletter is Eastman & Smith attorney Matthew D. Harper's article on Atticus Finch. Mr. Finch is a character from the popular novel To Kill a Mockingbird. A respected small town attorney, Mr. Finch is tasked with representing an African American man accused of a heinous crime in the South at a time when the Jim Crow laws were still in effect.
