Heid Honored by OACTA
The Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys bestowed on Eastman & Smith member Brigid E. Heid the OACTA Committee Chair of the Year Award at the organization’s annual meeting in November. The award honors members for their efforts on behalf of OACTA.
Ms. Heid is chair of the organization’s Employment Law Committee, an area of law in which she has worked for 30 years. Her legal practice encompasses counseling businesses on best practices and procedures, handbooks, wage and hour, employee leave and discipline, EEO, internal investigations, and protecting intellectual property and confidential information.
OACTA is an association of civil defense lawyers in Ohio. Members have legal practices focusing on defending civil lawsuits against companies, governments and individuals. For more information, please visit OACTA’s web site.
