Eggs 'n Issues Draws to Close
The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce's Annual Eggs 'n Issues series drew to a close on Friday, May 29 as representatives involved with the construction of the downtown arena project spoke about the process. This year's focus was Green Means Business and the four events focused on green initiatives in local business. This is the second year Eastman & Smith has sponsored the event.
Stu Goldberg, of Eastman & Smith, presented the opening remarks. Speakers included, Lucas County Commissioners President, Pete Gerken, Tina Skeldon Wozniak, Lucas County Commissioner, Gale Tedhams, Director of Sustainability, Green Products and Communications at Owens Corning, Ray Micham, AIA, LEED AP, an architect and partner at The Collaborative Inc. and Joe Zunk, LEED AP, general superintendent with Lathrop on the Lucas County Multi-Purpose Arena Project.
Ben Brown, Vice President, Brooks Insurance, and chair of the Leadership Fund Trustees of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce presented the closing remarks.
