Eastman & Smith Goes Red for Women

On Friday, February 5 attorneys and staff at Eastman & Smith Ltd. participated in "Go Red For Women Day," an American Heart Association initiative designed to bring awareness about heart disease, the number one killer of women in the United States. The Firm made a donation to the American Heart Association in the amount of $5.00 for each person who came to work wearing red. Eighty-eight attorneys and staff wore red making the total donation $440.

Firm member, Stu Goldberg, is the 2010 Heart Walk Executive Chairman. Since 2005 he has hosted an Ides of March Benefit Dinner with proceeds going to the American Heart Association. This annual event features local celebrity wait-staff from the public and private sectors. Goldberg hopes to raise $15,000 this year as a personal commitment to honor the memories of his father, David Goldberg and one of his best friends, John Cerutti.
