Eastman & Smith Named in U.S. News Publication
In conjunction with Best Lawyers in America, U.S. News and World Report has published a compilation of the top law firms in the country in several different practice areas. Eastman & Smith was named by U.S. New and World Reports as a "tier one" Toledo, Ohio, law firm in the practice areas of Banking and Finance Law, Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights, Environmental Law, General Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Law, Tax Law, and Trusts and Estates Law. Overall, only twelve Toledo law firms received a tier one ranking in any of these practice areas. The Firm also was named as a "tier two" Toledo firm in the practice areas of Corporate Law, Employment Law Management and Health Care Law. A total of five Toledo firms were ranked as tier two firms in these practice areas. In all, just 38 out of approximately 300 law firms in Toledo were named as tier one or tier two Toledo law firms in at least one of the practice areas evaluated in the 2010 U.S. News publication.
