Toledo Library Celebrates 175 Years

9/16/13

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library celebrated its 175th anniversary in September with an event featuring Pulitzer Prize winning author David McCullough. With over two million items in its collection (both digital and print), numerous resources on its web site, meeting space and programs for adults and children, the library continues to serve the needs of its community. Eastman & Smith attorney Frank D. Jacobs, who is president of the Library Legacy Foundation, introduced Mr. McCullough at the library event. The Foundation supports the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library by raising funds for purchases of resources and programs such as the Summer Reading Club. The Firm congratulates the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library on 175 years.
