Goldberg and Stopar Victorious in Appellate Court
Stuart J. Goldberg, a member of the Firm, and Jeffrey M. Stopar, an associate, successfully represented an insurance company in the Court of Appeals of Ohio, Sixth Appellate District. The Court upheld the lower court's ruling that the insurance company did not have to pay for damages because the incident occurred as the result of an intentional and criminal act of one of the insureds. The policy specifically excluded such acts and also had extended this exclusion to the other insureds.
Mr. Goldberg concentrates his practice in the areas of product liability, personal injury, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, health care litigation and employment litigation. Mr. Stopar practices in the areas of professional liability, land use and appellate litigation.
