Harden and Johnson Panelists at UTFBC Virtual Roundtable

Gary M. Harden and Scott A. Johnson, members of Eastman & Smith, were panelists in a virtual roundtable regarding COVID-19’s financial impact.  Mr. Johnson addressed  loan programs and commercial contracts while Mr. Harden discussed federal and state tax implications.  Other panelists spoke on additional business issues including insurance and human resources.  The session can be viewed on YouTube.

Mr. Johnson is the chair of Eastman & Smith’s Real Estate Practice Group and concentrates his practice in the areas of transactional real estate, business related matters and real estate related litigation.  Mr. Harden partners with clients and collaborating professionals, designing and implementing value added business and tax strategies.  He chairs the Firm’s tax practice.  (2021 Update:  Mr. Harden is now employed by Harden Law, a firm with whom Eastman & Smith has a strategic alliance.)

The University of Toledo Family Business Center focuses on understanding and assisting family-owned businesses.  Membership is comprised of family-owned companies in multiple industries including manufacturing, construction, telecommunications, retail and professional services.  For more information, please visit  their web site.
