Charles E. Sulek utilizes his distinctive background to identify avenues for resolutions that are in his clients’ best interests.
Prior to becoming an associate with Eastman & Smith, Mr. Sulek clerked for Justice Terrence O’Donnell of the Supreme Court of Ohio. Mr. Sulek also was employed by the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR), which the Ohio General Assembly created to review administrative rule enacted by state agencies. During his tenure at JCARR, Mr. Sulek not only reviewed regulations, he co-authored a chapter in Baldwin’s Ohio Administrative Law Handbook and Agency Directory (2015-2016 edition) explaining rulemaking procedures. At Eastman & Smith, Mr. Sulek is part of our Business Litigation, Construction Law, Eminent Domain and Natural Resources Practice Groups where he utilizes his regulatory background to assist clients.
After earning a degree in political science from The Ohio State University, Mr. Sulek entered Capital University’s law school.
Mr. Sulek and his wife reside in Toledo with their two children. When not practicing law, he enjoys reading, exercising, playing golf and watching sports.
