Profile
Alyson J. Letsky’s practice focuses on the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions, tax exempt entities and technology and intellectual property law.
She advises clients on a wide arrange of corporate matters, such as entity formation and governance, tax-exempt/non-profit organization, mergers and acquisitions, administrative and regulatory matters, technology transactions, as well as trademark registration and practice, copyright and licensing issues. She is an associate in the Business Law, Business Litigation, Tax and Non-Profit/Tax Exempt Practice Groups.
While in law school Ms. Letsky participated in the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic where she provided legal assistance to companies and also was a managing editor for the Ohio State Law Journal. Additionally, Ms. Letsky assisted in the update of a chapter in an employment legal text on employee privacy law. Prior to joining Eastman & Smith, Ms. Letsky clerked for several law firms where she drafted court documents and researched legal issues.
Before attending law school, Ms. Letsky enrolled in the Honors Program at OSU, where she earned a degree in strategic communications and minored in business and legal foundations of society. She also worked in OSU's human resources department for several years.
